The video at http://www.planethunters.org/science#started is very useful BUT there's not enough! The video should show an example of a break in the light curve, show examples of different variable stars etc. By the end of the tutorial, the user should have seen an example of 9 out of 10...

have you checked out the tutorial video (http://www.planethunters.org/science#started) - there is the vertical adjust feature which will allow you to scroll along the lightcurve without automatically adjusting the vertical y zoom
