http://talk.planethunters.org/objects/APH72664865 I honestly have no idea what this star is doing. For all I know, it is a trinary star with several thousand planets that is surrounded by a giant neon pink ring. Or it could just be a glitch. I would like some help knowing exactly what I came across today please!

I was looking around and I think it also might be an eclipsing binary!

Cool :D

Thank you for the clarification constovich! So, are eclipsing binaries rare on this website, or is this just the only one I've run into somehow? Ive been on this site for 1-2 hours, so i really don't know much.

They are fairly common, but not always this clear to see.

So is this something we should be marking or not?

yes please mark them, or at least as many of the transits as you can before the finish button goes away.

Cheers,
